This healthy breakfast smoothie recipe has become my new go-to smoothie for 2023. Not only is it super affordable and quick, but it is also extremely delicious!

This peach smoothie is perfect if you want something to eat in the morning, but not fill yourself up. It takes a few minutes to whip up, and you can take it with you to work.

When looking on the internet for smoothies, there don’t seem to be many smoothies that include peaches, along with other fruits that are just as appetizing but not as commonly used.

A unique smoothie like this one has definitely become a favorite amongst those who have tried it, and the smoothie recipe has been added to the list of must-try drinks for breakfast.

This post is all about a healthy breakfast smoothie recipe that is rich, sweet, and a perfect boost to start your morning.

Now, on to the ingredients!

Frozen peaches-

The first ingredient of this peach smoothie is frozen peaches! These add the main flavor to the smoothie.

Frozen peaches are recommended for this specific smoothie, but, if you don’t have those, regular peaches are okay too.

If you want your smoothie to be nice and cold, however, you may need to add extra ice to account for regular peaches.

There are several different brands that sell frozen peaches so you won’t have a problem trying to find them at your local grocery store.

If you want to use the exact same ones that we used, look for the brand Signature Select.

Banana-

Bananas are a very important ingredient to add to any smoothie. If you have seen any of my other blog posts, you will notice that all of my other smoothie recipes include bananas.

What makes them so crucial to any good smoothie is that bananas add a lot of extra creaminess to the overall texture and flavor.

So, instead of drinking just juice and milk mixed together, there’s a creamy ingredient that makes it into an actual smoothie consistency.

If you cannot eat bananas for medical reasons or just do not like them, fear not! There is an alternative!

Avocados add the same creaminess to smoothies and also provide healthy fats that add to the other nutrients you get from drinking this smoothie.

Milk-

Milk is the pure liquid ingredient added to this smoothie. Without the milk, the blender would not be able to mix the ingredients together and the process would take a very long time.

Even with milk, it can be difficult for older blenders to completely incorporate everything together.

So, keep that in mind when you make this smoothie: you may have to add more milk depending on what your blender can handle.

There are also other types of milk you can use if you are lactose intolerant or do not drink milk. Different kinds of nut milk can add delicious extra flavor to the smoothie.

If you prefer to have a regular peach smoothie, there are many varieties of lactose-free milk that work just as well.

Honey-

This ingredient is a little bit easier to mess around with than the other ingredients. You can choose not to add it at all, or add more than the original recipe.

It all depends on how sweet you want your peach smoothie to be. For this particular recipe, we added only 1 tablespoon.

If you have not ever added honey to a smoothie before, or even if you have and need a tip on how to make it mix with everything else better, there is an easy way to fix that problem.

Simply put the amount of honey you want to use into a microwave-safe bowl and put it into the microwave for 5-7 seconds.

This will make the honey thin enough to easily mix into the other ingredients.

If you skipped this step, the honey would stick to the sides of the blender and not mix into everything else.

You will need to heat up the honey if the consistency is thicker because the frozen peaches and other cold ingredients will give the honey a thicker consistency and it will not mix.

Ice-

Ice is what helps keep the smoothie cold. Although, it should be mentioned that adding too much ice to a smoothie, or really any drink, can water it down.

As long as there are other ingredients like frozen fruit to help keep the smoothie cold, adding a little bit of ice will be no problem.

If you don’t have ice or don’t want to add ice to the recipe, you will need to substitute that with something else that can keep your smoothie cold.

Some examples of that would be more frozen peaches or freezing the banana and then blending it in with the smoothie.

There are other ways to keep your smoothie cold, you just need to find what works for you.

These ingredients summarize what you will need in the smoothie.

If you have an older blender, we recommend also using a spoon to help mix everything together and ensure all of the ingredients get completely blended.

It is also SUPER IMPORTANT that you turn off the blender before sticking a spoon into the blender to mix your ingredients.

Looking for a new blender? No worries! We’ve got you covered.

This blender from Amazon is perfect not only for smoothies but also for smoothie bowls.

The different features of the blender will help with mixing thicker smoothies together which other blenders may not be able to do as well.

Even without a fancy new blender, this peach smoothie recipe is one of the easier smoothies to mix together and should not take long to get to a liquid state.

But what if you don’t want it for lunch?

This peach smoothie is perfect for a quick and easy drink to make on the go. Not only is it good for breakfasts, but really any other time of the day as well.

If you wanted to make it into a dessert, you could do that too. The fastest way to make any smoothie into a dessert is by adding ice cream.

This specific peach smoothie can be turned into a peaches and cream milkshake! Or, instead of adding ice cream, you could put some whipped cream on top.

There are so many ways to make this smoothie into whatever you are craving at the moment that it’s almost impossible to mess it up.

Here are a couple of events/times that this smoothie would be perfect for:

First and foremost, breakfast.

If you are someone who doesn’t eat a lot in the mornings but still wants to get a good amount of nutrition, this smoothie will take care of that.

It doesn’t need to be paired with anything else, because just drinking it by itself will get you started for the day.

Next, this smoothie is perfect as an afternoon snack.

You can use it as an excuse to take a break during a work-heavy day, or just as a snack to help keep you focused.

If you are a parent and have hungry kids that come home after school, this smoothie is a great snack and treat to split between them.

Depending on how hungry they get, it may even keep them occupied until dinner.

Or, if your children do sports, this smoothie is the perfect after-school snack to give them the energy they will need for their practice.

This smoothie recipe can also be turned into a dessert, which makes it a tasty treat for after dinner. While there would be ice cream in the milkshake, all of the other ingredients turn it into a healthy shake.

It makes a great option for kids who want something sweet after dinner and parents who don’t want their children to have something super unhealthy.

Not very hungry? This peach smoothie could also become a standalone meal.

However, it should be noted that the smoothie doesn’t include all of the nutrients and food groups that you should be consuming for each meal.

So if you do decide to go with this option, consider adding spinach for a vegetable, maybe some avocado for healthy fats, and some granola on the side or a piece of toast for carbs.

There are so many ways to customize this peach smoothie recipe and utilize these ingredients to the fullest. Including the ways listed above, this smoothie can be used for any occasion.

With that being said, you have all of the knowledge you need to make this recipe the best it can be.

Now, without further ado, here is the long-awaited healthy breakfast peach smoothie recipe:
