Looking for some healthy sweet snack recipes to munch on?
There are some really good healthy sweet snack recipes that don’t make you full, and you can eat them over and over again.
Depending on what you are looking for, whether it is a light snack, or more of a dessert, tons of recipes can match that description and only take a couple of minutes.
If you’re looking for a step up from plain fruit, these are the recipes for you. However, fruit is also a great sweet and healthy snack to have if you need to grab something quick and easy.
But if you want a little more, or something to add to the fruit to make it even better, try some different spreads to mix it up.
This post is all about healthy sweet snack recipes.
If you are anything like me, sometimes (really, most of the time) you just need something quick and easy to satisfy your sweet tooth.
All you need is a couple of ingredients, and you can make some super scrumptious healthy sweet snack recipes.
When thinking about different recipes, there are a couple of different combinations that you can use to come up with something.
For example, fruit is always a go-to snack that is super sweet and low in calories. However, you can add vegetables or carbs to make a snack that will fill you up if you want to be satisfied.
A lot of sweet snacks that use fruit also have some sort of dough or bread like crepes, toast, and muffins.
Most of those recipes can take up a lot of time, especially if you want to bake something, so you may want to stick to the simpler dishes if you don’t have a ton of time.

There are three main healthy sweet snack recipes that I have been going to recently, which are perfect for whatever hunger level I feel, whether I want something light or on the heavier side to hold me over until my next meal.
And what’s nice about all of the ingredients used in these recipes is that you can find them around your house! You don’t even need to take an extra special trip to the store to go grab something for any of these recipes.
Unless, of course, you already need to go out for something. In that case, you may need to restock your supply of something.
You don’t need to be an avid baker or cooker to have these ingredients already on hand, so no worries there.
Healthy Sweet Snack Recipes:
Chocolate Covered Fruit
Although not completely healthy, it really depends on what kind of chocolate you want to use. There is semi-sweet, dark, milk, or you can also go for a sugar-free chocolate or a different type of sugar-ed chocolate.
I use coconut sugar chocolate, which has a slightly sweet taste and just enough flavor without tasting bitter or making your mouth feel dry.
First, cut up the fruit you want to use, something like strawberries or bananas. You could also use blueberries or raspberries, but they may be a little harder to handle because they are smaller in size.
Prepare a plate or baking sheet and line it with parchment or wax paper. Then, in a bowl, add about a cup of chocolate, or as much as you think you are going to use.
You can microwave the chocolate down in thirty-second increments, and mix in between until the chocolate has completely melted. Dip the slices of fruit into the chocolate, either halfway or until they are completely covered, and then lay on the parchment paper.
Put them into the freezer for twenty to thirty minutes to let them completely harden. Then enjoy! You can transfer to a container after that, and leave them in the fridge for storage.
When snacking, make sure to be careful if you leave them out. They can soften up after a while and melt together if not put back in the freezer.

Peanut Butter Banana Toast
A nice sweet and filling snack that only takes a couple of minutes, you can make this healthy sweet snack recipe over and over again once you have the ingredients.
What’s nice about this recipe is that everything you need for the peanut butter banana toast comes in servings that can be taken from multiple times.
You can lightly toast some bread, spread a little bit of peanut butter, add a couple of sliced bananas, and there you go! A complete and healthy snack that can be eaten just as quickly as it was made.

If you want something with a more rich taste, substitute the peanut butter for Nutella. On the other hand, for a fruitier flavor, you could try adding jelly or jam.
Cole Slaw
Last but not least, a super light healthy snack recipe, cole slaw. This one takes more preparation time, but compared to some of the other snacks you could be making, cole slaw is quick and simple.
Even without all of the vegetables, you can use what you have lying around to create a nutritious and sweet snack.
This is also a nice snack you can make to eat later, but I would recommend eating it within one to two days, or else the veggies can get soggy and the snack won’t taste as good.
Cole slaw makes an excellent side dish for dinners or lunches as well, because the sweetness often offsets the savory flavors of the other dishes in your meals.
All of these healthy sweet snack recipes are super easy, and you can go for whatever depending on what your hunger level is like.
They are perfect for warm weather but can go with anything you have going on. If you have tons of fruit lying around, now you have some recipes to use them with!
